Snowmobiling, White Water Rafting,
or Quad bike driving.
The Golden Circle tour allows visitors to get in touch with some
of Iceland's most famous and exciting natural phenomena. The
first stop is at Þingvellir national park, which is one of
Iceland's most significant historical sites because it was at
Þingvellir that Iceland's first parliament was founded in 930
AD. From Þingvellir we head along mountain tracks toward the
world-renowned geothermal area, Geyser, the one spouting hot
spring on Earth after which all other spouting hot springs are
named. After lunch we continue on to Gullfoss ("the golden
waterfall") where your proximity to its edge is so close you can
feel the mist of the glacial water on your face.
From Gullfoss we kick the action into higher gear to get even
closer to Iceland's nature. Depending on the year/weather,
choose 1 option:
Snowmobiling tour on Langjökull glacier (open all year). White
water rafting on Hvítá glacial river (from end April until
middle of October). Quad bike tour through mountainous desert
highlands (open all year).
After an action-packed day we drive through the countryside,
make a short photo stop at the extinct volcanic crater Kerið and
pass by the greenhouse village in Hveragerði, from which many of
Iceland's vegetable are supplied, on our way back to Reykjavík.

A drive up to the snow area where
you will gear up in overalls, shoe covers to protect your own
shoes, and gloves before going on a one-hour snowmobiling on the
white snowfields.
Please note that we supply helmets for the snowmobiling
activity.

Caving trip in the Þingvellir area
Trip Difficulty 2 out of 5 possible.
Explore a hidden world of the lava field between Þingvellir and
Laugarvatn. Walking into caves and discovering the marvels that
volcanic activity has created in the past is a trip that
everyone can undertake. We climb, crawl and walk during our
travel beneath the surface.
You can choose your difficulty level but the standard trip will
show you a great cave only a 40 min drive from Reykjavik. This
trip has the advantage that the unstable Icelandic weather is
not a factor since we are going underground.
